Amenities
The association owns most of the property on the other side of the harbor along the service road we call the Outlot. This is a shared common area dock access, fishing. No cars or trucks should drive down the service road (without board approval). Golf carts and ATVs are permitted. We also have an area to place grass clippings and leaves. The brush pile is for branches (NOT LOGS). Membership includes the use of the association property.
McQuoids Inn
Snowmobile and ATV rental as well as lodging and fishing launches and/or guides. Nice playground for children and a few farm animals.
State Parks
Father Hennepin State Park - is located just west of Isle on Hwy. 27, the 316-acre park offers camping, picnicking, swimming and hiking. This is a great spot to take in the lake’s fall color or view the famous white deer and migrating bird populations throughout the year. There is a clean swimming beach, public boat launch, fishing pier, snowmobile trails, and special nature programs that are given periodically throughout the year.
Mille Lacs Kathio State Park - is located just west of Onamia on Hwy. 27, the fourth largest Minnesota State Park offers camping, picnicking, boat, canoe, ski and snowshoe rentals. Visit the interpretive center, a 100-foot observation tower. Enjoy groomed ski trails, snowmobile trails, and naturalist programs for families. There are also horse trails (bring your own horse).
ATV Trails - Mille Lac Drift Skippers
The Soo line trail is an ATV trail that used to be a railroad line for the Soo Railroad. It is now an ATV/Snowmobile trail. It is close by and easily accessible. The access point is right across hwy 47 in the ditch. Follow the trail parallel to 47 and turn left to get to the Soo line. Click the link for more details on the trails.
